LS6 to ls1 clutch problem
im recently doing an LS6 swap and the new motor came with a brand new clutch. When putting the T56 back on we noticed that the new flywheel seems to be too thick and will not allow the tranny to bolt back in properly. My question is...do i need to replace the new clutch and flywheel or can i just use a LS2 flywheel?...or even can i just use my old existing flywheel and get it resurfaced and put it on the new LS6 clutch?
and advice would be greatly appreciated

not sure what your saying. do you mean youre trying to bolt up and ls6 clutch to an ls2 flywheel? if so im pretty sure you cant. you will need the stock ls1/ls6 flywheel. ls2 flywheel for us is gen being used for the ls7 clutch.

From my knowledge no ls1/ls6 will work with the ls2/ls7 setup and vice versa...
So an ls1 flywheel in no way shape or form is going to work with any ls2/ls7 setup your using.
