Hey everyone i have a 98 trans am well about 4 months ago i spun a main bearing.Well instead of the ls1 motor i decided to put a ls6 motor out of 2004 cadillac cts v-series well the pilot bearings are differant. The ls6 bearing is flush with the back flange on the ls1 its pushed in a little way well i tried to put my T-56 on the new motor and came up with the fact it won't fit because the splines hit the flush bearing can i ask has anyone done this can someone help please. I almost had the motor in last night except i got stuck here .... It gives me time to get the rest of the gauges and a few other things but help is greatly appreciated THANKS
