A poly tranny mount will transfer more vibration through the drivetrain, but they do work quite well. The reason transmission mounts in our f body cars fail is because of the torque arm being mounted to the transmission. We install quite a few of the BMR trak pak (TPU001) torque arms that relocate the front mount behind the transmission, which is a much better design than the oem one.
