Default Clutch Overkill

Is there any benefit to installing a clutch thats rated almost double of what you're putting to the wheels? For example, my car has around 400rwhp and 400rwtq. A spec stage 1 or 2 should handle that, but I feel like I'm cheaping out, which is definitly not the case. Would a stage 3 have any advantages over 1 & 2 for me?

Seems to me that the SPEC-3 should be just about right for your power level...

The clutch is always a good place to have overkill.

Just what I was about to say. I'm currently running the Spec 3 with just a lid and full exhaust, but I'm about to put on an LS6 intake, cam, and 4.11's in the 9" so I should still be ok. I've run the crap out of mine also and the clutch holds like a ****.
