John and SouthBend recommended this clutch setup for my goals with the car.I think its a sprung clutch so there is zero chatter.Sprung clutches prevent crank vibrations and help the trans last longer. It has a warranty so i guess well see how it goes.Ill be back in town in a couple days and will finish the break in and then test it grabbing gears and a few launches and take it back to Norris to finish the tune.

I'm thinking the same thing when my new motor goes in with the juice.

Someone that sprays & puts out close to 600rwhp on juice needs to buy this clutch & try it out. I'd like to see how it holds up before jumpin on a new product.

+1 on that. My LS7 is not disengaging properly and now I have to get a new one because it has gotten real bad, and it got bad pretty quick too.

Do you know what the South Bend disc measures at for total thickness? That is a trick setup.

I definetly want to know about this man, but do they make stuff for an LT1???

I'm gonna be needing a new clutch and a 12mo/12,000 mile warranty sounds pretty ******* amazing.

Looks like a really nice disk, the extra clamping force of the exedy plate would really be a plus if they could get them off backorder. Good luck with it.

FYI guys, do not post anymore non-sponsor pricing or contact information. Please keep the discussion more tech related. We do not mind saying who the comnany/shop is but any pricing or contact information (website, email, phone#) for a non-sponsor will not be tolerated and I will have to lock the thread, which I do not want to do because I love hearing about new products.

Maybe I missed it, but is this SFI approved? I would be worried running the power levels some of you guy are talking about on just any old pressure plate.

Besides the pp/disk/ throwout bearing and pilot bearing. Did the kit also include a new fly wheel and alignment tool?

Dwn Cam...i dont know the disk thickness.you'd have to ask them.
Brad8266....John told me that the Exedy would have made it much worse to drive and that the Luk PP should hold up fine. Also,i wasnt planning on posting any contact info for the company.I just didnt want to make a thread that said "hey im trying a new clutch thats awesome but i cant say the name of it" the price was just because someone asked.no more info about the company from me
Donaimian....the flywheel is SFI but the clutch isnt specifically. They said they have no problem with me going to the track on it.I have a bellhousing blanket and a tranny blanket as well just to be safe.
The break in shall continue.
