Default Strange Clutch Problems!!!

Well after replacing my clutch a year ago with a luk pro gold kit it is starting to mess up. It wont let me go into gear and when i do get it into gear it wont release until i man handle it and rip it out of gear(dont worry stopped driving after having to do this). But the strange thing is my clutch isnt sticking to the floor. Also it squeaked whenever i released the clutch. Any help would be great!

Try bleeding the system again. It's not releasing all of the way when you push the pedal in. If that doesn't work, you'll need to check your master and slave.

This could simply be a worn out clutch. Those symptoms are exactly what I experienced when my Textralia was done. The problem is that clutch disk wears thin and that causes (somehow) the slave to need to push farther to fully disengage the clutch. I don't fully understand why, but it's true. When this occurred to me, I was sure it was some bullshit hydraulic problem, but the guys at ACE racing transmissions told me differently. We pulled the clutch, and they were right. It was done in.

Im probably gonna either go ls7 full kit or ram hd pro grip...what do you guys think. i dont want a heavy clutch because im dding it so im debating about the ram kit

The symptom you describe usually traces back to a fatigued diaphragm spring on the pressure plate as the root cause. When the spring gets tired, it just doesn't respond to slave cyl input as well and doesn't disengage the clutch disk from the flywheel.

Don't get too fixed on what I posted, for a pressure plate spring to fatigue in one year would require extreme service or abuse. Not likely in your case.

Yours sounds more like a hydraulic problem, probably air in the system requiring a proper bleeding procedure. Get it fixed quick, you're not doing the trans any favors running it like this.
