Noob Shift Questions
1.) Is it bad for the transmission/clutch to be at high rpms when I disengage the clutch (e.g. go into gear)?
2.) When I shift at high rpms (or any rpms for that matter), should I be giving it throttle as I disengage the clutch?
Sorry if they sound like dumb questions, I have driven a standard for years, but this is my first car where I have any desire to make it go fast (powershifting a work truck isn't as much fun). Thanks for any help you guys can give.

2.) I give it slight throttle as its starting to catch and then floor it when its completely out (when trying to go fast :p)
I'm not completely sure about the second response I'm sort of a noob at shifting also.
Driving a manual, especially in these cars, is all about getting used to every single different setup you have. I replaced the master cylinder in my car the other day. Completely changed the engagement point of the pedal. Caught me off guard.
