several weird M6 minor problems first of all I have the stage 2 SPEC with FIDANZA flywheel.
1. it chatters when I take off from first or reverse. I have to do fancy footwork like reving a little more so I wont get the chatter no more. Is that normal?
2. When I take off or when I step on the gas all out, the shifter/stick pops out tall (like if the tranny mount was broken) and when it comes down to its normal positioning like it hits on that tranny holder thingy, I think...is that normal?
Help please, Im concerned about those two things, other than that its shifts same or better than stock feeling.

The stage 2 shouldn't have much chatter, but if its new I'd give it a few miles to break in and it should get better.
As for the shifter raising up, that sounds exactly like a broken mount or a missing nut on the mounts stud to the crossmember. The lifting action of the torque arm raises the back of the trans when you stab the gas.

Yah some specs have a bit of chatter to em, and I could see with the extra revs to get it going due to the lighter flywheel, it could become an annoyance. If you're not going crazy with power in the future, I'd reccomend a C6Z clutch setup when you're due for the next one. I went from a Spec 2+ and saying I could not be happier would be the biggest understatement ever. Best of luck. Oh, and did you get the assembly balanced before you put it in? Could be a pretty big difference there.
