Default anyone successfully put a TKO600 behind an LS?

Been a while since I looked into this and I lost all my information, so I am
just curious if anyone has successfully put a TKO600 behind an LS based engine with a non hydraulic clutch??

Thanks...

Depending on the application , you could use an older GM bellhousing with a mechanical clutch linkage . The GM TKO uses the old 4 bolt GM bolt pattern .

Clutch cable setup ? I believe several companies make a bellhousing (scattershield) to install a SBC in Mustang using the factory style clutch cable . Make sure the bellhousing has the regular old GM trans bolt pattern and you will be fine . If the unit is a Ford TKO , I believe there is a bellhousing that will mate up a SBC to that as well as a T5 . The LS based engines share all but one bolt hole with the SBC and I know of several people running them with one bolt missing .
