Default T56 Rear Seal

In preparing to clean my T56 before installing it, I noticed tonight that the rubber boot on the rear seal (where the driveshaft goes into) is torn. How hard is it to replace that seal? Wondering if it's something I can tackle, or if I have to shell out money and take it to the dealership.

Rear seal is cake to replace. Pry the old one out with a little screwdriver and evenly tap the new one in place.

Damn, that's good news. Thanks!

I don't suppose anyone has a part number?

Get the OEM one from the dealer. The aftermarket pieces are junk and don't fit right and will wreck themselves after some time. The install of the stock one goes so much smoother too.
