I would go with something monster, as they have a 12 month warantee. That being said I love my centerforce 12 inch DF. Havent had any problems with this one like the old 11 inch, and centerforce has awesome cutomer service.
But again with a warranty like that Id get a monster. and definetly get the tick adjustable master, completely changed the way the car drives!

Ls7 is the way to go.
Look, what is the best clutch is very subjective.
What is your budget? How often do you want to replace it? How important is it that the clutch grips?
For your HP level, the ls7 is more than adequate. It will handle the power, feel like stock, and last for 30K miles. It is also the cheapest alternative.
For whats its worth, I would recommend a monster clutch or textrilla for anyone making more than 450rwhp. My ls7 is WHOLLY inadeaquate for my setup.... Spray or no-spray.

I had a South Bend clutch DXD-F 6 puck with a Unorthodox light flywheel on my 3000GT VR4 and I LOVED IT! It did what it was suppose to, and this was on ALL 4 WHEELS @ 550hp
For my Bird, I will more than likely go with the Monster Lv 6 or their unreleased twin; IIRC they still offer 18K on the mileage. I like OVER KILL, lol, especially when there is only a few $$$ difference, plus the turbos, I am sure will call for this level clutch.
One of the main reasons that I am really thinking about going with this clutch is that I really like what I read in their thread about their customer service principles as well as the durability/driveability/mileage the clutch will offer.
I also like Mcleod; you just can't argue with that kind of heritage/history.

Monster Clutches, prolly a stage 3 is plenty.
Just cant beat customer service! and Steve is very serious about being the best clutch company for these cars. And I feel if he stays on the track they are going, they will be "THE" clutch to have for these cars. Time will tell

I'm thinking about the LS7 or the Monster.
I wanted a stockish like feel, So I like the LS7, but I'm on the edge of the HP hold for the LS7. Plus if I spray or anything more it's toast.
I want to have fun, no noise, good feel and hold for a good while.
Plus I need a flywheel and don't know if I should light weight...
