Default Vibrations

Car (C5 6spd) is at a standstill (0mph):

I rev it in neutral with the clutch out (only pedal im touching is the gas) and at around 2000rpm, it starts vibrating (the shifter and the car itself). What all is turning as I rev?

I rev it in neutral with the clutch in (clutch pedal is pressed in) and it's a smooth clean rev no vibration.
What all is turning as I rev?

The input shaft and clutch itself is turning. That's the only difference.

May have lost a spring or weight in the clutch.

the input shaft and the clutch are turning no matter what when you don't have your foot on the clutch pedal. When you press it in, they stop turning.

Another thing that could be the problem would be the input shaft bearings could have taken a crap.

T56 rebuilds just told me the input and outshaft spin when the car is in gear.
wouldn't a worn bearing make somekind of noise? I'm not getting any noises of anykind, just vibration.

How can I tell if it's the input shaft without pulling the tranny?
