Slave Question

Slave Question Okay I'm having horrible luck and before I do anything I want to check on this.
installed a new slave, drove the car for a few minutes and still seem to have transmission issues. while I had the slave hanging there again, I installed a remote bleeder.
I figured, the way my luck is going, better press on the peddle to make sure no leaks lol
press on the pedal a few times, no leaks, press one more time and there's brake fluid on the ground! It leaked out the center of the slave, not the fittings.
took everything off, thinking I have to return the slave, but I noticed the bearing was cocked at an angle. So did it maybe just over extend since it was just hanging free and cause a leak, or is my slave now junk?
I ordered from Summit, so I don't know how returning is going to work

I similarly burned myself while bench-bleeding my hydraulics...overextended the slave cyl and blew fluid out the center. I gently eased the slave piston back into place, but the sucker leaked after it was installed on the car.
Go get a new one.

I was told that new GM slave cylinders come bled out. If you bleed it I hear thats when people have people have problems. Just what I was told by a sponsor who has done a bunch of them.

I didn't buy from GM though. I ordered through summit, so when I connected it up to the slave, it had to be bled out...
I'm really thinking about chancing to see if it leaks if I reconnect it up, since I don't know about returning it
