Pro 5.0, B&M Ripper????
As for the factory Hurst, I don't like it because it sit's too high for my tastes. It is quiet. Putting a short stick on like LS1derful did would probably make a decent shifter out of it.
The Pro 5.0 is what I have in my car. It's a little noiser than stock but that doesn't bother me. I like the precise feel it has. I would buy a Pro 5.0 again. I feel more confident shifting with the Pro 5.0 due to the offset handle that with the Hurst.

p.s. dont forget to put blue lock tite and the shifter stops so they dont come loose and stop you from engaging your gears LOL THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING EVER!

Just my thoughts....
BUT it always shifted wonderfully. When the transmission came out and was rebuilt (at around 83k) I decided it was time to try something new, so I bought a Pro 5.0.. I haven't put but 100 miles on it, but so far I like it. I left the stick at the full length for now, I'll see if its something I'll want shorter later. Easier to shorten than lengthen
Both are great shifters -- drive one of each to see what you like better. The Pro 5.0 feels very accurate to me, but maybe its just because my Ripper is so worn
