automatic to manual have any of you guys done an automatic to manual transmission changeover. If so how hard is it on a scale of 1 to 10. Ive done one in my old honda civic(GAY I KNOW) and it wasnt that hard. so i wanted to do it in my T/A. will i encounter any shifting problems in the future also. Thanks

Re: automatic to manual hey MXKidd, I have an opportunity to swap out my A4 to an M6, and I was wondering what needs to be done as far as wiring harnesses, etc. Also the guy I am swapping with whohas the M6 is a 2001, and my A4 is 2000. Will I have to get my PCM tuned or will his 2001 PCM interchange with my car and vise versa? TIA

The engine control harness is not hard to remove..I had mine out in less than an hour. That was the first time I've ever done it. Getting the other harness back in was a bit more time consuming, but not difficult.
