Default Pilot bearing questions

Ok im doing my a4 to m6 swap. Im confused as to which way to install my pilot bearing? There is the flat side(with the bearings right there) and the rounded in side. Which side goes into the crank?

Nvm i finally found a thread that showed me. Flat side in the crank, round side towards the input shaft. But should i get a bushing instead and where could i get a bushing instead of a bearing? I read a lot about peoples not holding up so well..

Rounded side out.....it helps you slide the shaft into the hole.

The one thing I under...I haven't had to deal with it, but how the heck would you remove a bronze one if you needed to.

you get a bolt with threads slightly larger than the opening of the bushing. the bolt has to be longer than the depth of the bushing.screw the bolt through the center of the bushing, when the bolt bottoms out on the back of the crank, you keep screwing the bolt in and it will force the bushing out. ive used this method several times and it really works!
