Default tranny issues or clutch?

well i just had my tranny completly rebuilt almost everything was shot.. the guy that did it put all upgraded parts possible in it. i also put in a ram powergrip clutch...(not a ram hd) my stock clutch always did fine but i figured with the tranny out i might as well do it now. so anyway now when driving the car it drives perfect at low rpm and just driving around town. anytime i go to get on it or try to go from 2nd to 3rd at high rpm it just wont let it happen? any sugestions? its a 98 car but i have an 02 slave in it and just rebled it for the 3rd time tonight...im stumped? any way an adj. master cylinder would fix this. the clutch has to be pushed pretty well all the way down when shifting hard but releases like at half way? WTF!! please help!

the clutch never slips or anything and never has a problem coming back up it just seems like its not releasing and letting me shift!

Stock flywheel machined?
An adjustable master will get the freeplay out of the pedal. It could help.
But I'd say you definately have a release issue there.
