Do you already have a cam?

Yes, the LS7 Clutch paired with the LS2 flywheel is probably the best bang for the buck clutch. Its nice and beefy, no chatter, etc.

I got the clutch and flywheel for 452 shipped from byunspeed a while back, I loved it compared to my Spec Stage 3 IMO.

Either the LS7 or the RAM would be great for what you're doing. Most people really like the stockish pedal feel of the LS7, the RAM tends to be more stiff on the clutch leg, but some people prefer that as well.

LS7 clutch there is a sponsor with a deal for like 410 or 420 and I love mine. I'm putting down 400 right now and my drag radials slip before my clutch at 5 grand. LS7 motor stock is rated for 505 hp with a warranty so think about that. The flywheel is a little heavier and helps me down the track nicely. Good luck.

I am using the RAM HDX with their flywheel. It is probably slightly stiffer than stock, but honestly I have had it for 15k miles and can't tell the difference before and after. even right after the swap it felt stockish. It holds really strong for being a "stock replacement" it hardly slips at all, and I have a predictable and consistent clutch feel when I launch on it numerous times in a row.

Haven't had it to the track yet, but I don't expect any surprises (well except for the 10 bolt, but thats always iffy).

I am using an LS7 with no problems so far. I only have 1,600 miles on the clutch though so only time will tell. I love it so far though.

How the heck are you making 380whp with bolt ons? Anyways, I'd only go Textrailia, Mcleod, or Ram on the clutch. People say the LS7 is rated to 500hp but a ZO6 Vette is alot lighter car also.

I don't think they rate it at 500 HP otherwise the stock vette would be maxing it out from the factory. For the price I dont think it can be beat. Once you have the flywheel its only like $300 for a new disc and pressure plate. I can use up 4 before I end up paying for the Texrailia. If I had the money I would step it up, but I have a budget so I will see how the LS7 kit works out for me. My tires spin before my clutch slips but thats with drag radials. Well see what happens when I get some real slicks and Drag wheels.

easy, bolt ons + fast 90/90+ good tune= one fucked up stock clutch...

i never even got to try the car out to its full potential yet... Its been a week, and the car is still in my garage, untouched...
But i gotta say, the clutch is not completely fucked, its just it cant handle WOT anymore... and i just cant stand seening my t/a like this...
