Default Name this shifter....

Bought a car and pulled this shifter out.....add said it had a hurst shifter, but the only thing that said hurst was the stick...is this what the hurst that comes stock with ls1's looks like... I have never seen a stock style shifter for a lt1,ls1 come with the holes to attach a stick for a stock shifter.... any body know???

Doesnt look anything like either of my hurst shifters, hurst also usually has grooves where the stick attatches.

Its a factory Hurst base but the lever has been changed with smething else( home-made?) The tell tale is the 4 non-Hurst bolts holing it together.

Looks alot like my stocker did, but mine was all falling apart on the inside and looked slightly different. before i read the other replies i was going to say stock though....

Sladex is right. It's an early Hurst comp plus "internal rail" shifter circa 1995, part number 391-0800. It's for 1993-1995 Camaro/Firebird. I picked up one new in a box recently and it's identical. I installed it on my T56 and it works beautifully. Mine still had the round black slightly bent Hurst stick attached to it. Somewhere around here I think I still have the installation instructions for it, and as I recall you can remove a spring to reduce the bias pressure of the shifter.
