Slave issue
So i pull the tranny back out.. With the slave still hooked up to the master I can hold the slave down with my hands and you cant push the peddle. Why is my slave so weak?
This is a lsx/t56 in a fox.. the slave/clutch worked flawlessly before installed. The master I am not sure if works perfect ..it is a tilton I had gotten from a friend. When I open the bleeder on the master though it pushes fluid no problem.
Why would I be able to hold my slave down and my master/peddle doesnt have the power to push the slave forward? Obviously a spec 3 clutch is goign to be much much harder to push then my hands so needless to say something isnt right.
Sometimes you can get away with pumping the pedal about 20-30 times as fast as you can, and the bubbles will bleed out the top, otherwise crack the bleeder and do it right.
I did a clutch and slave install on a car a few years ago and had the same problem, bleeding it fixed it.
With the slave on the floor and the bleeder open I push the clutch in and fluid pushes out clear. Is it pretty much bled? I would think air in the line would cause it to be mooshy.. not freakin completely keep it from pushing the slave at all.
