I'm rather confused on what everyone keeps saying about the flyweel. Yes duh you should always have your flywheel re-surfaced, but what does everyone mean Balanced? Isn't the flywheel balanced to the crank on the LSx motor's?

Im having myself a big debate between the df and the dfx. I talked to centerforce and told them I am running slicks and want a 5k launch side stepping the clutch and he said if I run mainly street on 500hp(bottle) the df would be fine and should take the abuse at the track as long as i dont slip it much.

Should I go with the dfx and not have to worry at all and listen to the squell and never look back.

Or go with the "more street friendly " DF? Its hard to find centerforce info on here.

I thought the 12 inch DF was stronger than the DFX?
