Why is a forged rod and piston 370 only rated to 800 when SBE guys push more than that on the regular? Potentially interested in a 370 short block but plan on pushing more than 800.

We are selling a real motor rated at a realistic usable power, We are not able to rate or warranty motors based on what someone on a forum or facebook page says their neighbor did. We have to talk long term reality not short term internet fame.

After looking back it could come off more harsh than intended. The whole stock build makes 2000HP deal has been a bit of a running joke around here lately.

Is the 800 rating to the wheels or the fly for the 370? I'm looking to make 750-775rwhp with my D1sc. Would the Stage 2 800hp rating be enough or would I really need to move up to the Stage 3 1k+ hp rated one? Thanks!

We rate at the flywheel however I have no problem with a D1 on this. The rating is a starting point, the D1 can make into the 800WHP range, The stage 2 is capable of what ever you can do with it on the D1 alone.

I have a TMS 370, and they told me it's good for about a 300-350 shot on top of my HCI. I make around 450 rwhp on motor so that would be around 750 rwhp on a 300 shot. Had it five years now and it's been totally reliable

I’m interested in the 370 short block. Are they prebuilt or can you build to suit on bearing clearance and ring gap for a mild boost application?

Can you do the outlaw short block with a 3.622 stroke CCW crank? To make it a 388?

this seems like a hell of a price!

We can but it would be another crank, Something like a callies Magnum, Ultra billet or Windberg. There is no longer a Dart CCW 3.622" stroke crank available.
