Been wanting to get out of my sedan ('05 CTS-V LS6) and into an SUV, so this baby looks very interesting. When (time/mileage) were the top-end mods done and has anything been done to the transmission in the last 20K miles or so? Also curious what real-world mpg you get. Needless to say, with my current ride, in NOLA, I won't be shocked by low numbers, but hope you can beat avg 14.

I'd have to go look at the B Trip Meter but I think it's about 3000 miles since the ported heads (Bigger valves and 61cc chambers) and other stuff. The totally stock Aero gets the same or worse mileage Ironically, 14 to 15 almost all of the time. Don't drive it enough to care but I think it got 17 on a trip to Tyler going to my moms, could have been the Aero though. Never have checked it religiously on a road trip.
The transmission hasn't been touched aside from sucking most of the fluid out when I pulled the radiator to avoid as much mess as possible. Never had any issues and the fluid was very clean. If the V is an auto and nice enough we can discuss that that said, I have too many vehicles is the main reason I have it for sale.
As you can see, I don't bump it like somebody that cares much if it stays. It really is as nice as it looks.

Thanks for the quick response. That's cool; I was only looking for ball park. V is bone stock, T56 6 speed. Slightly less mileage than your TBSS, b/c prior owner stored her while on active duty. He is a good friend from our street racing days, like 40 years ago (praise God we and everyone around us survived--no credit to us, pure grace), so statutes of limitations have run. Dude managed to break a top-loader in a 69 Cougar 427. The V was a matter of brothers helping each other out. In short, you probably don't want her--I apparently need to replace the clutch at about 65K; may switch to a TR6060/magnum. Otherwise, she's sweet but not the right form factor for the travel I want to do, thus, in the market for an SUV that will actually see some highway miles. I should probably be looking at hybrid ****, but the opportunity to smoke some poser in a vette or 'stang is a big bonus. I'll give it some thought and review the $ to see if I can make it work. Won't be hurt if you can sell it to someone else for asking in the meantime. My 6th grade teacher evaluation noted how slow I was, but she hadn't seen me drive.
