Description:

Includes all fastener hardware and alignment tool. This is a street clutch good for 800 HP, with lighter-than stock pedal effort, due to the 2 plates. It allows for very quick shifting, which is nice. Fits F-Body LS engines. I used it for only 1,000 light break-in miles, but it turned out to be a bad match for my motor/trans combo build, so I swapped for something else. In very good condition. Pairs well with a lighter than stock flywheel. Matches redbird555's recommended setup here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...l#post18986366

Matching Fidanza Flywheel listed here. Will knock off $30 if you buy both.
You can also pick what you want from my FOR-FREE #1 post (or second FOR-FREE #2 post of LS3 parts) if you need anything, or browse my other for-sales ads and I will probably give you a discount for multiple items.

*Note About Seller:
I am a long-time member of LS1Tech since 2008, and have sold wheels, seats, driveshaft, suspension parts, and headlights among other items without any complaints from buyers. My goal is to sell these parts, but also to make sure that you are happy with your purchase, so I have done my best to describe them accurately. I have priced all items below market value, but if you find an identical item in equivalent condition for less, let me know and I will probably beat their price. Note that, apart from local pick up, shipping of items is extra. I work daily, but will attempt to visit the post office twice per week to ship items regularly.

Can you elaborate on "bad match for my motor/trans"?

Without making it into too long of a response, my LS3 has a completely custom bottom end, with lightened crank, lightened connecting rods, and lightened pistons, with higher compression in the heads. Even though I had the crank balanced, I think that due to the large weight changes, there are still vibrations of the 2nd or 3rd order, because I did not shave the counterweights. As a result of that imbalance, a lot of vibration is being passed through from my engine to the transmission. Because the McLeod dual-plate does not have room for damper springs, this made some noise under load from about 2000-3000 RPM. I swapped to a clutch with damper springs, which did not completely remove the noise, but reduced it by 90%. However, given that this is a street clutch with organic material, most people, especially those with stock bottom ends should not have this same issue.
