posts like this never cease to amaze amazing me. OP is selling a nice condition rare color trans am for almost 20k. and you ask him to pull the drivetrain cuz you want to make it a race car when there are plenty of $4-7k high mile trans am's out there or rollers for sale.

The OP has a beautiful car. No harm in asking. Maybe he wants to keep that engine for another project.
I'm not looking to turn this thing into a racecar. I already have one. I'm looking for a M6 SOM to replace my pewter street car.

Guys this was posted a long time ago, it's obviously sold. The price doesn't reflect the market of these right now. Obviously if it looks to good to be true it is. Cmon now.
