Description:

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my for sale ad.

Up for sale is my 1999 Camaro Super Sport. The color is NBM with the Neutral interior, 6-speed, and T-Tops. I purchased this car from the original owner in July of 2018 with 54k miles. As of today it is still under 58k miles. All mods are less than 2k miles. I will attempt to list everything and hopefully won't leave anything out, but feel free to ask questions.

The car starts quickly, runs great and handles quite well for what it is. The interior is very nice. There is a very small rip in the driver bolster and one very small crack in the dash that is hard to find from any angle. Aside from that the only interior modification is the radio. The stock unit failed so I replaced it with a regular CD player. The seats have some small discoloration/light spots that were there when I purchased it. I believe they are from a cleaning agent that was used and not cleaned up properly.

The body is in nice shape but with any car of this age it is bound to have it share of small dings and scratches. There is one very small dent on the rear by the tail that will come out with paintless dent removal. Sail panel has the typical bubbling.

I replaced the headlights with Whistlers as the old ones were fogged over. I did keep the old.ones for the housing, so they will come with the car. I also have both sets of keys and fobs. All SS floor mats and rear cargo mat are still in tact and like new. The SS car cover is also included.  T-Tops shades are still in place.

Now for the good stuff!

-BMR Level 3 Koni Handling Performance package.

-Strange Dana S60 with 3.73 gears and 25 spline axles. -Strange Chrome moly yoke upgrade.

-Mighty Mouse Solutions mild catch can.
-FTP 104mm Air Lid.
-Tuned by Pat G.

I am asking $23.5k OBO. Not really interested in any trades at this time. This is not a perfect car by any means and I don't pose it as such. It is a very good looking, quick, good handling, mean sounding hotrod. It has not been cheaply built and should provide many years and miles of enjoyment for someone. It is stored in my garage, on a lift, with the cover over it and the battery tender hooked up (battery is only a few months old). It doesn't hurt me to sit there but I'd rather not have it sit so much. With other cars and a family it simply doesn't get enjoyed like it should.

I am not in a hurry to sell and don't need to sell it. It would just be nice to see it go to someone who will enjoy it and drive it like it is intended.

Thanks for your interest!

One thing I forgot. I did replace the alternator and the water pump at the time of the engine swap. Also, the rear end had it's proper fluid change at 500 miles.

Oh man is that a nice build! Makes me miss my cammed LS3 catfish! Premium price but I think well worth it, wish I was in the market! Video and dyno graph would help you even more. Good luck man!

Thanks for the kind words. The cost to build the engine alone was almost the price I've attached to the listing. It is OBO though so please feel free to offer a price but please keep it reasonable.

Only partial trades I would consider at this time are guns.

No dyno tuning, all street logged with Pat G doing the tuning. I can say it runs rather well. I'd hate to speculate the exact. I followed another members build. He ended up around 620 in a C6 GS. Since she has made changes but I modeled after his build. Everything sourced through Tony Mamo so everything is matched to work together.

There are not many dyno shops around but I am not opposed to setting it up if someone is truly interested.

Bump.

Had the car out tonight for a 30 mile drive. It drives absolutely awesome, AC blows cold, and it's so much fun. I wish I had more time to enjoy it.

Times are getting tougher. $25k 20+ year old toys can a hard pill to swallow.

If anyone is local and wants to check it out let me know.

If you followed the Mamo build exactly you will have a reliable 580-600 at the tire IMO, with similar torque. With exact specs, your only variables will be dyno, weather, and current state of tune on the car. With a Mamo build and PatG tune...hard to get much better. You may eek out a few more on a dyno for bragging, but hard to do better that what you have done. Totally feasible you have ~600 at the tire on most any recently calibrated dynojet. Nice!!!!

I'd say that's a fairly accurate depiction. With the Dana S60 it's bound to eat a few HP but that's the price to pay for strength. I've had other cars that dyno'd in the lower 600's and this car runs with them without issue. Probably better because of being NA vs supercharged. I also have another car that's stock that is a good gauge for HP and the SS is absolutely the faster car.

Will it take a wider back tire? With the suspension mods? Like a 315. Is it lowered, if so How Much. Thanks.

It certainly will take a wider tire and is only lowered 1". A 315 will fit, no issues there.

Lots of PM's but no real offers. One area that seems to be of question is the tires. They are in very close to new condition, no patches, no cuts....etc They are the NT-01's so in the rain this car can be a handful. It's fine to drive but you do have to be careful as the car does not have traction control.

I am happy to work with a buyer on price and shipping and I am happy to answer any further questions.

Have a happy and safe 4th.
