Description:
The car was tuned by Matt at Sloppy Mechanics at his shop in PA, and put down 781 rwhp, torque unknown on E85. The current turbo is completely maxed out, so if you want to go for bigger numbers, either a T6 kit or twin kit will be needed. It has a dial a boost that Matt developed and tuned for, so you can go from wastegate to 22ish PSI with a turn of a ****, but the power maxes out around 16 or so PSI due to turbo limitations.
The car has a built 370 cubic inch iron block from Texas Speed with TSP H beam rods and Weisco pistons. It's topped with a set of PRC LS3 after market as cast heads and a BTR aluminum intake manifold and is run by a Holley Terminator X ECU.
The turbo kit is a Huron Speed V3 T4 kit with a Precision 7675 CEA turbo.
Bear 6 piston front, 4 piston rear brakes. Magnaflow cat-back with a Granatelli electric cut-out.
For drivetrain it has a T56 Magnum F, McLeod RXT twin disk clutch, Driveshaft shop aluminum driveshaft and a Midwest Fab Ford 9" rear with a 3.20 gear set. The rear end is narrowed 2" each side.
The car has a set of Midwest Fab mini tubs installed, a Midwest Fab torque arm and full UMI suspension all around to include rear lower control arms, turbo k-member and front lower control arms. RideTech coilovers and Strano sway bar on the rear, and a stock one on the front due to turbo clearance issues. I have the front bar, so if you change up the turbo kit, you'll be able to install it.
Wheel setup is 19x10 front, 19x12 rear CCW Classic 2's, which are a discontinued wheel, so should be the only F-body with these wheels on it in the country. 345/30-19 Nitto NT555 R2s on the rear and 275/30-19 NT05s on the front.
Fuel setup is a 5 gpm brushless external pump with 1500cc Snake Eater injectors and a flex fuel sensor. The flex is completely tuned into the car, so you can change from E85 tp 93 and the tune will take care of the rest. The fuel system is WAY overbuilt for the current power level, but I did it for future power upgrades.
Full JL audio mids, highs and a 10" sub with 2 JL amps for the sound system.
Issues with the car are as follows
Rear wing needs a full repair and re spray. My dumb *** opened the garage door with the hatch opened and the car on jacks, ate the paint right off the rear edge of the wing, pictures included
Paint chip on the drivers door, picture included.
I installed the K member, front lower tubular control arms, and RideTech coil overs, and now have a clunk when hitting bumps. Since I did all that as the same time, I'm not sure what part is causing it, and have yet to spend the time to troubleshoot it.
The interior rear plastics need to be figured out how to install over the mini tubs, and rear seat will need to be modified as well if you want to run it.
The car has somewhere in the range of 50k miles on it, but since I removed the stock dash I can't remember the exact mileage. The engine, trans, clutch, rear end, fuel system, tires all have what's shows on the Holley EFI dash, which is only 920 miles.
The two years I was building the car, I purchased a motorcycle to have a fun toy in the summer while the car was down. I ended up falling in love with riding, and prefer to be on two wheels rather than 4 now, so the 920 miles is all I put on the car last summer, the first year back on the road since tearing it down, so it's time to say goodbye after 14 years of ownership. This is not going to be easy for me, but every good thing must come to an end. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
