on average a car will have 12,000 miles put on each year. but based on my experience, look for something below 100,000 miles, way below. or find one with things that have rearend rebuilt, trans rebuilt, newer clutch. My car wasnt babied (over 200 drag runs) since it left the showroom floor and i have replaced/rebuilt all of the those. By the way the V6 idea could still fly if u want something unique. The 1989 TTA is extremely quick even from the factory. A GN or T-type 4.3L V6 turbo and intercooled motor swap has been done into some late model V6 camaros. However, if ur looking for unlimited possiblities and cheap all out speed and power get an LS series motor or car.
