Exclamation WANTED: RELIABLE winter vehicle <$1000 (Lansing, Mi. area)

I have a buddy who needs a winter vehicle. He would realistically like to pay no more than $500-$600, but he is willing to look at vehicles up to $1000. If you know of anyone selling a vehicle, or if you are selling a vehicle, that meets this criteria, post it up!!

Thanks guys for your help!

Hey man whats up!

I live in Indiana, but I actually have 2 Reliable cars for sale. Not really in his price range, but just thought I'd post them up anyways.

98 Buick LeSabre 3.8L with 150,700 miles on it and a FRESH GM Transmission by a local shop. New tires with less than a thousand miles on them. Car is very clean for the miles. And runs awesome. Only thing it needs to my knowledge is a set of front rotors (pulsate) and a check engine light is on. I'd trust this car to go anywhere. $1600 FIRM

The other is a 97 Plymouth Breeze 2.0L 4 cyl. with 150,000 miles on it and it has just been serviced. Oil change, Water Pump, Timimg Belt, Front Pads and Rotors, BOTH Front Wheel Bearings, and coolant was replaced and cooling system flushed at the time of water pump and timing belt install. All work has been performed less than 1500 miles ago. To be honest, the car looks like ****. BUT it runs awesome. I'd again trust this car to go ANYWHERE you wanted to go. $1300.00 Firm!

Reliable and <$1000 are hard to come by. He might want to look into a $4-5K car that he wont have to put $5K into.

I don't have much to offer other than that advice. Good luck to you both.
