Default Is everyone OK?

Not sure if this is the place to ask but how is everyone fairing in the midwest right now? Are you laid off, job cuts looming? I for one have seen major changes in my business as of about a month ago. Customers dropping like dead flies. Just wondering if this is the shape of things to come. Or what?

Bodyshop business in central, IL is dead slow and has been for 1.5 months. We were on track for a record year, now not so much.

I work in medical, so as long as no one invents a cure for everything, I should stay gainfully employed. On a vulture-like note, the bad job market makes used parts a lot cheaper in the classifieds...

That has been the best market for awhile now. Especially in some of the machining fields like Biomet or Zimmer. This economy I think has a great deal to do with my vehicle not selling, but I'm sure some one will come around with a pocket full of money ready to blow it.
