Default Emission question

I just want to know if anyone knows a shop in the NW suburbs of Chicago that will tune out the emission stuff on our cars. I have a 1998 Formula LS1 and it has no EGR and no A.I.R., It has the Pacesetter race headers with no Cats. I ask someone at a shop today if they could do it but they said it be illegal to do unless I presented them with the title saying the car was for RACE only, I can keep asking around but thought I'd ask here first.

Thanks in advanced

Speed Inc did mine. But I had it done as part of a dyno tune, not sure what it would technically be called...probably just a regular tune. Best bet is to call them and ask though!

And its funny because I just took my car in for the emissions test today. I love the look on workers faces when I pull in with my cutout open.

I do that kind of tuning for a 6 pack. It only takes a few minutes to do, assuming that's all you need tuning wise.

I learned that it is better to put the EGR back on, and the A.I.R. pump will be put on but without hooking it up to the headers
