No more Indy Truck Bash??? I heard thru the grapevine that the show is no more???? If you hear anything post your findings.
Truck Bash has been the biggest show around here for years. Shocking to here this. Hope it's not true or someone else picks it up and puts the show on.

i didn't realize that. i always thought good guys/super chevy were larger events...
truck bash is/was all right, the way they had the classes last year you really had to have a fast car to win anything. thankfully the year i raced i was basically racing other ls1s, the sad thing is my stock internal car (the only one of 6 lsx cars up there) took runner up haha.

Yea its not happening in 09 for sure, and from what I read it sounded like it wasnt happening again at all.
Havoc in KY is the same weekend so ITB would have been pretty empty anyway.

Well guys, I'll just get to it,
It's with great regret that we have to cancel ITB for '09. As most of you know, we are partnered with a promotion company that is really the money behind putting on the show. For them, because of all of the same reasons that everyone else is facing lately...they're just not able to do it. I wish it were different. I know that we (CRAZE) have loved making this a part of your lives for so long, and I'm not sure yet what's going to happen in the future.
I can say this...people...PLEASE get out and support shows! Keep them going so that we don't lose any more! I know Craze will be supporting Slamology, and the Havoc show in Ky in FULL FORCE this year, and it's actually moving to the same weekend as what ITB would normally fall on, so PLEASE get out and support Slamology, Havoc, All-Star, LOATP, and all the others.

Well i would say Dave has the official word...
Hopefully this will help Slamology grow into a bigger show. It has all the makings to do just that.
