A buddy of mine worked at Orielly auto parts. We used to prank all the other stores, he told me a few good ones, such as a fuel pressure regulator for a 98 Camaro Z28, (since its part of the rail, and they can't get it). All in good fun.

I've also been having fun calling local Auto Zones asking for a flux capisator for an 83 Delorian, and a radiator hose on an 82 Beetle
Spaz, work some magic and get me the lil boot off the backing plate where the ebrake hooks up to the rearend.

Joke's on you! The regulator's actually in the fuel tank and sold as part of the fuel pump assembly. On the rail is the pulse dampner

Your right, the regulator is in the sender assembly, its the rail is what he kept pricing us if I remember right. Either which way he couldn't find it in the computer.
