Man My Fault, It was for 597(Going In For Pipefitting) You Know Anybody In There? I spotted a Few LS1's in The Parking Lot

I was in the 1:00pm Session and Man it was CROWDED.

The Test was pretty easy.
Multpily/Divide/ Fractions and Decimals
3-D Interpretation
Reading Comprehension
Mechanical Inclination
Piece Of Cake.

Good Luck, hope you did good. I myself just started with 134 and love it. Tough to get into unions right now since they are hella crowded since so many people have no work. Did you turn in a letter of recommendation or anything with your test?

I Gave them A Copy of my Diploma along with a letter from my Welding School when I applied last month.

The union rep was very pleased that I graduated from a good vocational school. He let me know they were really looking for welders, and that they're taking the top 30% of applicants. So I've got my fingers crossed until FEB 24th.

I hope I get in, because I've been on a cross country roadtrip taking weld tests for jobs..

I'm glad to hear you like your union. Keep up the good work.

TOP 30%!?! woah that seems like a lot. 134 ended up deciding to take only the top like 7.5% (140 out of 1900 applicants). The welding class should help a lot along with the vocational school, those are both huge for pipefitters.

Two Portions: HVAC and Pipefitting, so I'm assuming he meant 30% Overall.

30/2=15% of about 2,000. is about right I guess.
