Default Need a little help with my Camaro fellas!!

Hey guys,

i filled up with gas a few days ago and i noticed my fuel gauge is still reading 100% full. Now either i have the most fuel efficent ss in the world or something went wrong.

And i have driven about 150 miles and ZERO drop on the needle.

And yes, the needle still moves because when i start it up on accessories, it does the sweep back and fourth. Also, no fuses are blown.

any help would be greatly appreciated it

thanks

Kevin

You need a potentiometer . There is a body plug right to the right or the rear left wheel well. Un plug it and Use t pins inside the connector where your wires go when the wires are connected. Youll have a dial so just have someone watch the gauge or if you have long enough jumper wires you can look at it yourself and just move the dial and your gauge should move,

If it doesnt its not the sending unit if it does its the sending unit, Mine doesnt read at anything above half tank and just stays there till it gets low, But no one sells the sending unit by it self and Im not pulling my gas tank to put a stock on back in

you buy them at radio shack for less than a 10dolla bill and they are great for testing gauges to computers
