well i went and saw F&F. it was pretty good but some of the stunts were a bit CGI-ish, lol.

i went to the 1:30 show and it was only $5.50 because it was the earliest showing of the day at that theatre and they offer an early bird discount. i got raped on the popcorn/drink though. $9.50 combo for both, lol. there were maybe 30 people and from what i could see, no ricers parked outside, lol

i won't spoil anything but i did really like the black 77/78 T/A seen near the end of the movie.

 

bad thing is i think i will need the spray to even keep up. not sure how many will be with me bunch of bench racers here lol but i will be there silver 98z

are there any really corny lines in the, movie like that 150 shot of nos could blow the welds on the intake?
if so thats gonna be worth to see it so i have new movie quotes to post on forums

 

there was kind of a corney/funny line which IMO was a reference to the first movie. during one of the races, paul walker gets off course and his GPS keeps recalculating routes and keeps saying "turn here" "make a u turn" etc and he yells "SHUT UP" really loud and fast, reminds me of him yelling at his laptop in the first movie

Plan on going, but won't be bringing my car until I can get it tuned. It really racks up the miles with 3.73's when the PCM thinks it has 2.73's. I'll have to catch a ride, unless someone can bring efilive and fix that for me.

 

I am for sure coming. Jason, how does the car pull with 3.73's now? I say bring it anyway what is a few more miles.

Hard to tell cause I only put 7 miles on it and it was raining out so I couldn't try out much. The car is at the farm and I haven't been over that way since thursday night when we got it finished.

when i got to hooters tonight and parked across the street, i saw this SRT8 challenger come out of outback and it had these 2 white boxes on the top. i thought maybe it was a dealer car or something and had them on there for protection. well once i saw one of them fly off the car i realized what they were. they were to go boxes of leftover food :rotfl: i got a couple pics of them cleaning up the car but they are from my cell phone so they arent so great. still was pretty funny to see it happen. you can faintly make out one of the boxes that flew off in the second pic in the middle of the road.

 

Was a good time hanging out with everyone and making the cruise from Plymouth to Merrillville.

We need to plan something again soon!

 

Maybe next time it'll be a little warmer and I'll have my car by then. My legs are hurting from riding in the back of the HOSS.
