The Gearbox - GARDEN CITY, MI - transmission shop Hello All,
Wonder if anyone has had any experience with this shop. I've been in contact with them to try and get a quote for parts I had listed that is on their webpage and for labor to do the work. THEY ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to give ANY sort of estimate. They say they have to open it up and tear down the transmission. Thing is, my tranny works fine, but looking for upgrades for some more power and I would be stuck if its torn down and I'm told I have to replace everything. I've been screwed before like this, so it makes me a little weary, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows these people or has used them to rebuild their transmission and how their experience was.
