Picked up my first LS1
Picked up my first LS1 After a long long search, I finally picked up my dream car! I looked for 2 full years and wasn't successful, I even had two different cars purchased which one guy backed out of and the other one got totalled the day I was supposed to pick it up. It was obviously fate because I couldn't ask for a more perfect car or a more perfect seller!!! Check out the pics and let me know what you think. Here is the link:

It already has a huge list of upgrades. hooker long tubes, hooker y pipe, flowmaster mufflers, corsa tips, ls1 motorsports air lid, 85mm slp maf, 4:11 gears, dyno tuned, bmr strut tower brace, bmr panhard rod, bmr lower control arms, bmr relocation brackets, bilstein shocks, and dms lowering springs. I was pretty impressed by the list. I'm thinking next will be a ported throttle body from TPIS and some sort of throttle body. Not sure where to go after that!

Glad the car is working out well for you. My garage isn't quite the same without it. I stood in my driveway and listened to you drive it all the way down 33rd until it was out of earshot before finally going back in the house.
I'm still working on zipping up all of my pics and I'll get those over to you before long.
Here's to hoping you get as many years of enjoyment from the car as I did!

The car has been absolutely amazing! I've been grinning ear to ear since I've had it. I also took down my first mustang the other day on the highway. I raced a new GT500 and beat it so I was very impressed. Everyone I've shown the car has been speechless on how clean it is and how great the mods are!!

I refused to put any up of the motor yet because it was pretty dirty. I just had it detailed yesterday and will throw some up in the next couple of days here. I'll get the interior at the same time!
