Mechanics Shop in Jeffersonville, IN Area Possibly in need of a cheap, but good shop to fix my car: a 1998 Chevy Cavalier Z24 w/~110k miles.
I'm located in Jeffersonville, IN and google just lists BigO's etc. in Louisville.
I think it's the timing chain, but i'd want 'em to be able to do the diagnosis too if possible and not just going by what I say.
I say cheap, cause i've already sunk $500 into this repair and it sounds worse than before it was "fixed", and I'm not sure it's worth it to put much more $$$ into it.
It has a new chain and guides etc. on there, that was put on by a backyard mechanic, although it sounds like it's already eaten through 'em. So I'd rather go to an actual shop this time than try to mess with this guy anymore. He's supposed to fix it for free, but surprise surprise i can't seem to get ahold of him. That's a whole other story though. Thanks!
