You still shooting for GMHTP? I was talking to Celester, but haven't heard from him in a while.

I'm thinking that Vette Magazine would be the SORC publication that would get dibs, but I'll ask Scott @ GMHTP and see what he says.

I went yesterday. It was alot of fun but of course, not enough f-bodys. I didnt know NMRA was so much bigger.

atomic: when you made that 9.08 pass the crowd was dead silent until you hit the 1/4 mile mark and the time was displayed. You could hear a pin drop. I came over about 7 and took some pics.

that's cool, I always wonder how the crowd reacts when I run. My fastest pass of the weekend was 9.04@152. I had a bunch of close times and was still in the competition when I broke the trans. Sucks to break when you win.

9.04 with 18's up front? Nice. Go treat yourself to some skinnies and get get your 8 second pass.

Sounds like you have talked to Justin Ceslar. Email me offline to continue the talk... john@motorsports-media.com.

I heard there was GTO running in Mean Street, anyone know?

I dont know if more people showed up on sat but on Friday the True street class was disapointing, like 10 cars there. Plus they ran at 10pm when everyone left. No love for true street.

There were several True Street cars there on Saturday....one of them, a '96 Camaro, had both air bags deploy on the burnout.
