Default Where to get LS1 shortblock rebuilt in Illinois-chicago?

I may be buying a car that needs a shortblock rebuild. My block and crank are fine, so I'm having a hard time finding online prices because most are for complete shortblocks assembelled.

Around how much would it cost me to have a shortblock rebuilt with forged pistons and rods? Nothing fancy, stock rebuild. Any reputable shops that don't break the bank in the Chicagoland area?

Thanks!

Price around, but one place I would recommend:

Opel Engineering
Streamwood

Wow, I work A LOT with Opel Engineering for my work (BMW dealership with performance center - Ted does all our cylinder head work), I wasn't aware they did domestic stuff.

In fact, I had plans to send Ted my heads for a re-fresh, but if he can do the shortblock as well.... do they source parts? I guess I'll have to give them a call..
