Default snapped my panhard

took a slight turn and heard a loud crack, next thing I know my car isn't handling worth a damn.. jacked it up and look, panhard bar snapped in two.. it was an aftermarket adjustable one too. UMI I think.

Thats strange, did you happen to hit something in the past that would have cracked/weakened it?

I hydroplained off the road once that could have started it lol..

Idk if UMI has a warranty but I didn't buy the thing it was on the car when I got it so Idk if they would honor it even if they did have one..

Hello,

We offer a 2 year warranty to the original purchaser.. however the poster isn't 100% sure it is a UMI brand. If you e-mail us a few pictures we can take a look at it.

Thank you,
Ryan

That's an easy fix all you need is a new adjuster. Though the problem could be the bar is to short which means the adjuster has less thread to grip on. This is only capable if it was made with manual machines because all the big sponsors use CNCs.

Thanks for the pictures and that is not a UMI panhard bar. We have never built an adjustable panhard with an adjuster in the middle, also those are not our bushings or powder coat color. I would say that bar is 5-6 years old.

If you are interested in a replacement I would be glad to help you.

Thanks!
Ryan
