Default MAF question---PLEASE LOOK!

I just bought an 85mm SLP performance MAF sensor from summit racing, and I glanced and saw LS1. Turns out this MAF is for a 2004 GTO and I need it for my 2000 Camaro z28. Does anybody know If it will still work? As of now it does not fit to my stock air box, but I think it would fit in the SLP lid which i was going to buy anyways. If anybody can confirm thsi for me that would be amazing, I really wanna get my car goin again. The part number from summit is 23063.

It will fit the SLP lid, I have one that is in excellent condition, but you will need this harness to make it work.. http://fasttoys.net/shop/product_inf...oducts_id=1620
Also make sure you have SLP part number 23060 if you have a 00 f-body. If you have 23063 that is for an 04 GTO so I would call SLP and make sure its the same. IDK
You can have my SLP lid for 50 bux.

Can I ask why your going to an SLP maf? They are honestly more of a headache than good. If you have the stocker still run it. They are a pain to tune with, ended up selling mine when Straightline sudjested that I just use the stocker.
