I hate dashboards Just a small update on the chaos in the 71.
Started on the teardown process on the dash today, we're getting a new fiberglass one in a few weeks.
Incase you want to know how they put the ashtray together at the factory...lol
On a separate note, the new Alt. bracket went on painlessly, except for the part where i had to take 5 trips to the local store to finally get the right belt size!

I only spin to about 6700. I did have some issues with tossing the belt, but we discovered the previous belt was too big and did not seat properly. This new bracket does not move at all(unlike the previous one) and I don't think it should be an issue.
I've been good. Just trying to find a better paying job now that I'm a licensed paramedic.

It's also WAY easier to get hired on to the CFD as a paramedic as opposed to trying to test in as a Firefighter.
I'm just looking for a good career dept where i can retire from.
