My partner at work bent his 3rd gear shift fork on the way to straighlines open house and he had a guy in grays lake rebuild it with better forks and carbonfiber synchros for 1400.00 or 1600.00 , he gets out of work at 3 so I'll let you know after I ask him.

I've gone through several transmissions in my various cars and bought transmissions from a few different places. My FLT trans is the best trans I've ever had. Soft on light throttle hard on hard throttle. Great customer service, I won't go anywhere else. You could go anywhere and they will talk the talk saying they can do whatever you need, you fork over the $ and you might get something good, or you might get a big headache and have to go somewhere else and pay more to do it again.

shoot....well i know for a fact its not the shifter, clutch, master or slave. it is a pro 5.0 spec 3 tick master, and ive ripped through three clutchs...turst me im good at shimming clutches now...lol i just get a slight grind shifting fast through 1-2 and to 3rd...i just dont find spending 1400 on my trans if my power will always be my problem. And constantly killing clutches, i think ill judt deal with the notchy till i auto this bitch

A spec clutch's Suck B. Last time i checked the only thing that kill's clutch's and trans like your doing is a miss timed shifting. I have my tex 0Z700 clutch in my car with well over 20k for miles and Over 200 track pass's of letting the clutch do a fast slip off the line At 7000 Rpm's. And my trans Is is almost stock only has upgraded blockers and 2.3 fork

Hey Joe, sorry I took long but it's called Dave's Transmission in Grayslake, we'll see how it turns out. We'll be at Modern Muscles open house in Oswego on Saturday if you wanna ask him.
