CENTRAL MISSOURI'S LARGEST CAR SHOW

April 28-May 1
Hey everyone I thought I would post this up so people would have time to set their schedules and take off work if needed. This is a car, truck, and motorcycle event.

Once again its the Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals in Lake Ozark, MO.



HERE IS THE SCHEDULE FOR 2011
Event Location: Bagnell Dam Strip – Lake Ozark

Thursday, April 28

4 PM—7 PM Early Bird Registration—Check out the special “early bird” promotions on lodging, attractions and entertainment. Lodging discounts listed—more specials at registration

Friday, April 29

10 AM—8 PM Street Meet Participant Registration
10 AM—5 PM Vendors at Luby's Parking Lot
10 AM Morning Cruise—Enjoy the Lake of the Ozarks on the official Scenic Driving Tour—Driving Tour brochures will be included in registration packet—Take a trip around the Lake of the Ozarks—95 miles
12 PM—5 PM 2011 Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals Begin
6 PM Join in the Friday Night Fever Cruise and then Cruise the Bagnell Dam Strip

Saturday, April 30

8 AM—5 PM Street Meet Participant Registration
8 AM—5 PM 2011 Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals Show Hours
8 AM—5 PM Vendor midway open at Luby's parking lot
8 AM—5 PM Judging of show vehicles (Judging Saturday only)
10 AM Make-n-Take Model Event
All Day: Spend Street Meet Money at Participating Strip Businesses
All Day: Door Prize Drawings—All show participants are eligible
7 PM Cruise the Bagnell Dam Strip

Sunday, May 1

8 AM—1 PM 2011 Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals Show Hours
12 PM Awarding of trophies and Grand Prizes—Main Stage
1 PM The Daybreak Rotary Club awards the winner of the Car Raffle – Main Stage
All Day: Door Prize Drawings—All show participants are eligible


Judging criteria is in five categories, with 100 possible points in each category.
The judging categories are:


1. Body, Paint, and Graphics
2. Interior
3. Engine Compartment
4. Undercarriage, wheels and tires
5. Overall appearance


We give First Place and Runner Up awards in each car class. Show classes are:

There is a chance to win a New Camaro as well.

the entrance fee last year was kinda high especially because just a few years ago there was no fee, atleast they should not block off parking on the strip for the type of cars that may not want to compete but would like to show off what they have

The entrance fee is $20. There should be a lot more space on the strip this year because they just introduced a new event called NexGen Magic Dragon that is for the imports, they are having that in the HyVee parkin lot

Was told that if we can get enough F bodies to enter then we will most likely get out own judging class next year!

Sweet thats one of the things that was missing last year, and atleast the entrance fee dropped 10 bucks

Looks like we will have atleast 5 thirdgens, 2 of those have LSX swaps. The way it's lookin we might be able to get it next year. Still need to get the numbers up. I know that there's quite a few coming out of STL for it

Last year i think i saw maybe a total of 6 late model fbodies there including mine and my friends

There will be at least 4 of us, maybe more from Des Moines, Iowa that will be there again this year. 2 f-bodies and 2 vettes. We always have a good time down there.
