Looks like a pretty wicked setup there. Any ET's? Hi-Tech in Ramsey is your best bet. They have a dyno and Brian knows his stuff. He did my car and some others LS1's.

Definitely Brian from Hi-Tech. As I mentioned above they dyno-tuned my car (also some other local LS1's) with LS1edit and did a excellent job and they're local. Hi-Tech isn't well known, but Brian is excellent with the LS1. He helped setup Al Corda's LS1 (owner of Rock Falls) which nows holds the record in the Super Stock class. They're currently working on his new car.

Here's the contact information. (They are busy year around and sometimes hard to get ahold of, so please be patient). Also, Bart is more accessible through the phone.

They charge $150-hour if THEY tune your car, otherwise the standard rate applies. Cost me $500 and Brian tuned my car on their dyno. Once they have your VIN# on file it's real easy for them to update and usually no charge provided you don't need any dyno time.

Are you running true duals?

It's a little Northwest of Minneapolis, you can take 169 almost all of the way there.

Ya it is basicly the same. Except you buy a year specific program, its not vin locked. So mine will work on all 99's.

You might want to check out Doug Rippie Motorsports for Dyno tuning.

TPIS uses their dyno as well. TPIS has a portable sniffer system and will tune on the street. It seems to work pretty well from what I have seen.

On a side note, have any of you guys from MN use a QWIK STIK from AustinPerformance?

Last heard I DRM does not touch F-bodies; maybe they changed. Brian from Hi-Tech worked at DRM years ago and I feel Brian is hands down the best LS1 tuner in the area. I have an A4 so I can't answer the question about his shifter but know the people use that shifter love it. I do run his SSRA extension with FTRA setup, which is a first quality piece. I know the owner of Austin Perfornance; Al. He's a nice guy who will take care of you.

Hey that's me. Check out my website in my Sig.

I too went to HiTech in Ramsey to have my car tuned by Brian for my cam that I installed. Now I have to see him shortly for my NOS 5177 tune. I can't wait to spray.

My 02 SS release date with NOS was pushed back by cold weather and salt on the roads.
