Indiana Emissions
i live in northwest Indiana. i go to the Griffith testing site. Last time i only had my OBD2 port plugged into.
I want to get a set of pacesetter longtubes, ORY, and remove my EGR and AIR.
Has anyone passed emissions this way? (keeping in mind that i will get it tuned to keep the MIL light off)
Should i go with high flow cats?
Car is a 1999 Chevy Camaro z28 M6.

yeah its only up here. i heard that griffith is one of the more laid back loactions as well.
i plan to get the egr air cats and rear o2 tuned out.
Brief Encounter: did you get yours tuned or did you do it yourself? did they give you any problems?

I have passed with no troubles the last 5 years. Longtubes, y-pipe and air removed. Just get all the codes deleted and make sure you have a few driving cycles down before you go test.
All they do is check your gas cap, pull you forward and plug into obd. If no codes in computer and your car passes all the cycle tests, your good. I have been going to the one in crown point.

its not bad if you have obd2 , but I have a 95 obd1 still trying to figure out how to pass. I was looking into exemptions has anyone done this? I have no emissions, plus other mods.

hate to revive a thread that people already answered but...
i installed my long tubes and got my car tuned and before it was fine but now it for sure smells more gassy i dont have the cats and i know others have passed but now im wondering if the smell alone will be enough to make them check or not pass me. any advice or tips or anything would be helpful
