Alright buying a car from Ohio the current owner purchased the car and has not switched the title yet so from what I understand is he has to switch it into his name. My question is how long will it take to have it switched and have the actual title in hand. The person im buying the car from says they can do it on the spot same day etc. Is this the case? Thanks

Also on the back of a Ohio title can they transfer the title more then once?
So Owner #1 sells to owner #2 is there a spot on the back for another owner
owner#2 sells to owner#3


In MN they are able to transfer the title more then once just buy filling out the back of the title (More then one spot)

If theres no issues with the title and he has it in hand, it will only take a couple of minutes to switch the title over to the owners name . Once he puts it in his name , you won't have to worry about multiple transfers on the back.
