First time i'm able to make it to an open house with a running lsx car or a decent car at all and it looks like it's gonna rain! F*ck! If it does, will there be a rain date?

I know I'm the same way. One time at a car show it started to rain. I rushed home freaking out. Then the next day I washed it laughing at myself as I'm spraying it down with the hose like everytime I wash it. I was acting like the rain was paint remover! LOL

Well i WILL drive it in the rain if i have to on the 19th to get some work done at speed but the main reason i wont is because i don't have a/c and will have my 8 and 10 yr olds with me and don't want them to suffer in the heat if we have to put the windows up. That's my biggest gripe over the threat of rain and not being able to go. If it was just me, i Might have chanced it. Also, if i wasnt 2 hrs away i'm sure we could just sweat it out for a 20 minute drive. LOL

I've got that beat. I haven't washed my '98 car in 7 years, just occasional dusting. And the last time it saw rain was April of '98. It will probably see AV plates before it sees a hose again.

The '02 car is on rain duty though. But these events aren't much fun when it's raining anyway.

I only saw 3 who peeled out besides me. Im having an sjm abs delete and linelock installed friday and wasn't about to sit there and light em up with strange brakes so i just peeled out too. I saw a LAWT of rain on my 2 hr ride home and even 2 spots with hail! But she's almost completely cleaned and dried now so i feel better!!! LOL

Wish there was more action, my 8 & 10 yr old boys were a bit disappointed by that! hahaa

Thanks for the pizza and pop Speed and cant wait to be back on friday!!
